Our Story

Founded in February 2019, Medical Equipment Distribution Services, Inc. was born out of a clear community need. We saw that many individuals lacked the insurance coverage or personal funds to acquire essential medical equipment. By partnering with a network of dedicated Home Health professionals, we established this nonprofit to bridge that gap.

Our Mission

To provide durable medical equipment (DME) to those financially unable to acquire it on their own. We collect and redistribute gently used equipment—such as shower chairs, transfer benches, wheelchairs, walkers, and hospital beds—giving these items a second life while helping families regain independence, dignity, and safety.
